OO-DLC (cn 152) Electrifying! Avoiding thunderstorms near Karlsruhe on our flight from Brussels to Athens. Dispite the turbulence, it produced a nice picture. (exposure time: 4 seconds, tripod used). Not sure how to call this: static discharges? Saint Elmo's fire? Arcing? Anyway, very interesting! |

VH-OQJ (cn 062) The world's first dual A380 flyover happened today in Sydney. Flying in close formation, this occasion marked the official start of a historic partnership between Qantas Airways and Emirates. The flyover was done under a special call sign "Seismic", as Tim Clark says the EK-QF partnership had caused seismic shift in the global aviation. Interestingly, Delta-Yankee disappeared from the radar after takeoff - was the TCAS system switched off? I quite like how the two prominent tails aligns one another. |

HS-TUA (cn 087) Such a great presence even in the dark. The world's largest bird wearing beautiful purple clothes seen at Narita's night. Push-back completed and ready for taxiing out as TG677 bound for Bangkok at 5:50pm. Huge thanks to a fellow Airliners.net photographer Mr.Ryotaro Shinozaki for making this possible on my 2013 photo shooting kick-off. [Nikon D700, Nikkor 80-200mm F2.8] |
