F-HPJE (cn 052) [Canon 7D + Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM] Getting this photo opportunity was a race against time, as AF39 Super was running slightly late, and the light was fading quickly. Several planes were cleared to takeoff in front of the A380, and the field darkened from the low angle of the sun. F-HPJE was finally cleared to takeoff as the sun hit the horizon, and caught a nice glow as it banked towards the West/Northwest. |

HS-TAK (cn 566) One of two Airbus A300s (the other being HS-TAL) left behind at Don Muang Airport when it was flooded. The landing gear and engine nacelles have been bagged to protect them. At it's highest level it appears the water was about a foot above the bottom of the engine nacelle. Now going on three weeks sitting in the water. |
