N918AN (cn 29519/353) Climbing out of runway 12, MIA, over downtown Miami and heading out to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. The wings are coated with residues of de icing fluids. I guess this aircraft will soon be out for a scheduled service and a badly needed wash. [Nikon D300]. |

PH-BGN (cn 38125/3584) Climbing up into the sunset aboard KL 1797 from Amsterdam to Munich at only 3:30pm local time makes me realize winter has arrived in the Northern hemisphere. The broken clouds reflecting on the upper surface of our wing and the rays of sunlight hitting the ground in the distance have me wide awake, even after a trans-atlantic crossing from New York's John F. Kennedy the previous night. It's a peaceful thing... just sitting there, gazing out at the fading light and having the world pass by below. |

N5016R (cn 32431/429) This is what happens when 500,000 pounds of aircraft meets the runway, and not all at once. There are some interesting effects around the landing gear. This airframe is the second 777-300ER built. |
