"Easy 8951" made its trip towards Innsbruck once again an unbelievable literally one!!! She came in lower and slower than usual, as she was cleared to minimum approach speed due to some small VFR traffic in the area. I captured her now right approximately 6nm west of the airport on finals for runway08, doing the famous visual west approach through the valley inbound from Kempten KPT) VOR. In the background the ski area "Rangger Köpfl", elevated at around 6500 feet (1939m) with skiers and their tracks is clearly visible. Picture was taken on the 150 nautical miles return leg Bora Bora - Tahiti, after a short sightseeing trip to Tupuai. 25 km in the distance, Tahaa island can be seen.
