OV-103 (cn OV-103) In this rare look inside shuttle processing, final preps are underway for the payload bay doors to be closed on Discovery inside the Orbiter Processing Facility (OPF) in preparation for its final mission, STS-133. They will be opened one more time after this, on the launch pad when the payload is installed. In the foreground is the Ku-band antenna, with one of the two robotic arms stretching behind it. The shiny interior surface of the doors are radiator panels for dispersing heat.
