HB-XOE (cn 1019) Air Glaciers was one of many helicopter operators flying all weekend up here in the Swiss Alps, transporting equipment and passengers to approx. 2200m ASL for the annual Lauberhorn / Wengen men's world cup downhill race. This classic Alouette is seen approaching the temporary helipad in a steep turn to pick up another load of people after the race, flying them down to Lauterbrunnen. Taken at 180mm, ISO 50, f/14 and a shutter speed of 1/50th. |
