B-165 (cn 24313/977) I am quite sure that there are very few pictures of B-165 (intact) around. This B747-409 was delivered to China Airlines in June 1993, and five months later was the aircraft that ran off Runway 13 at Kai Tak. I was lucky enough to catch her one sunny day at the airport when she would fall from grace. [Fuji Velvia Slide] |

B-1850 (cn 121) China Airlines had purchased the Caravelles from Swissair. B-1852 was lost on November 20, 1971 while enroute Taipei to Hong Kong. It exploded in mid-air. The picture was taken at TSA, then the only airport in Taipei and was used for both international and domestic flights. It is now domestic only. Before international operations were moved to the present day Chiang Kai Shek Airport in nearby Taoyuan (50 Km away), the TPE code was used for Shung Shan Airport. The ROCAF also based their VIP fleet there. |

B-2015 (cn 414) Far Eastern Air Tansport was the largest domestic airline in Taiwan for many many years and still is today. The Viscounts were the backbone of the fleet when it stepped into and through out the 1970's. A few Caravelles were added to compete with China Airlines. |

B-88988 (cn 53577/2189) It's not possible to see U-Land airlines in Taiwan any more. Taiwan's Civil Aeronautics Administration (CAA) had stopped U-land’s service on 31 May 2000 due to its failure to meet minimum safety requirement. This photo was taken at the end of runway. The aircraft is just making its turn to face the runway for take-off. |

B-194 (cn 221) Delivered 12.82, into store at Marana 4.00; scrapping began late 2005. Some interesting military behind - that VP-4 P-3B was involved in the Mayaguez Incident in 1975 while with VP-17; at the left is a Canberra PR.9 |

C-GFEN (cn 4006) (temporary registration) sits in Field Aviation's hangar undergoing heavy pre-delivery maintenance. I'm not sure but I think this is Uni Air's first Dash 8-400, a very long commuter aircraft. |

B-17201 (cn 522) My friend Mr Lee told me that he saw a very special airplane at TSA without window which has registration B-17201. I managed to get this one and it appears to has window. Anyway, it seems Uni Air has only one Dash 8-200. |
