27 RED Evening returning of Fulcrum. On landing run all brakes - both the drogue parachute and braking system of wheels are involved. Underneath the wing there was one R-73 (AA-11 Archer) is a short-range air-to-air missile. Probably one of two missiles for defeat of the purpose has sufficed. |

RF-93872 / 21 white (cn 07053) The combat Rook (aka Frogfoot A) earlier belonging to a air regiment of "Red dogs" takes off! Underneath the wing two fuel drop tanks (2x800 litres) and two assault bombs FAB-500Sh. The FAB-500Sh bombs, equipped with parachutes, could be dropped from level flight on the altitude of 100-200 m and usually hit the target with accuracy of 15-20 m, almost comparable with the accuracy of laser guided bomb dropped from high altitude. |

RF-90751 / 41 red (cn 36516) The Flanker takes off! Underneath the wing one short-range air-to-air missile R-73 (AA-11 Archer) and two ECM-Pods "Sorbtsya". This plane is named after Alexander Chislov and earlier to before Vilenskiy regiment from Kilp Yarv. Chislov Alexander Mihajlovich - the Hero of Soviet Union, the commander of a squadron of 63rd Vilenskiy GIAP, guards captain. During the Second World War the pilot has made 635 operational flights. Has personally shoot down 21 airplane of the opponent and some airplanes - in group. |
