ZK-OKQ (cn 40689/984) Yes! After multiple days of an impenetrable marine layer and disappointing shooting conditions, ANZ1 arrives out of the fog just in time to catch the remaining faint glow of daylight. This is one of the most beautiful airplanes I have ever seen. Magnificent! |

HB-JHK (cn 1276) As luck would have it, weather was rather clear only 10 minutes before it pushed back, then a layer of dense fog rolled in and covered the entire airport lowering the visibility to less then 200m. I was keen on capturing the new Swiss colours (or rather lack of it!) for the first time at night, and even though the weather was far from great I'm still quite pleased with the results...SWR257 departing for Zurich, local time 5:10am. |

ZK-SJB (cn 28868/2881) Enroute AKL-WLG passing the amazing Mt. Taranaki. The near-perfect circle around the volcano is the protected deep forest of Egmont National Park, and the areas around it are farmland. As far as I have heard, the round shape exists because they chose to make the National Park circular, which creates this very interesting effect. New Zealand is just beautiful! |
