HL7372 (cn 48408/457) Not something you see everyday, a Korean Air MD-11 freighter sitting on its tail, this fateful day in 2002 brought one very unsual sight for me to see, the cranes are being used to help straighten her up. |

CS-TKN (cn 624) This month of November had been really good for us spotters, with so many different things coming by!! Not being a different A/C, this one deserved some attention... These pilots were caught in some wind shear, and it was really close to total disaster, since the wing almost touched the ground! You can also see the stress in main landing gear... At that time, there were gusts up to 44 knots of crosswind, and heavy turbulence was reported! I'm glad that everything ended up well.. [Canon 40D + Sigma 120-400 |

G-ARWE (cn 18373/302) Photo 6 of 7. Shown by kind permission of Mrs J. Hartop (niece). View from LH rear of aircraft. || 38 people received treatment for injuries and 5 died, including one stewardess - they were overcome by fumes inside the aircraft. Investigation found the cause to be failure of low pressure compressor wheel due to fatigue (continued on photo 7). |

N656US (cn 26847/486) WOW!!! I was taking some pictures at the end of Rwy 24 when this US Airways n/c came over shooting flames and making loud bangs. I counted 8 of them, and lucky for me, at least 3 times I got the fire on the photo with the result like this. Those people inside must have been shocked really hard with all those flames and bangs! btw: I like their new paintjob! [Camera: EOS 300D Lens: Canon 90-300mm] |

LV-LOA (cn 11085) Aerolineas Argentinas' pilots were on strike, and the government tried to break it by sending military pilots with no training to this dangerous airport. What you see near the water is the result. |
