N792AS (cn 28887/2903) Uploading live from the event, here's Alaska's proud and newest about to go through the water canon as they start up! A.net gets the first look at Alaska's Salmon Three Salmon scheme, and she's a beauty! The aircraft has been under wraps at KPAE for a long time now, and was finally unveiled today! Special features include an emblem inside the plane, and a special paint that makes the scales shimmer in the sun. To Alaska and the painting crew, as well as the artist, fantastic job! |

PH-BDO / DO-012 (cn 24262/1642) Consolation prize caption: A KLM airliner was escorted into a Duckburg military airfield by fighters today after inadvertently overflying McDuck's Money Bin. Seriously, for those unfamiliar with it, the intrepid duck is a female mallard which should be about 58 cm (23 in) in length |

D-ADII (cn 23775/1412) Suffering a heavy birdstrike during takeoff to Pristina. Approximately 200 starlings were sucked into the engines when they the flew straight into the path of the departing Boeing.
