CF-TJM / 813 (cn 45653/178) Result of a late aborted take off from 28R (now 27R). This was taken the next morning about 7.30am with the aircraft firmly embedded in the Cabbage field, note the underside of the cockpit section and the engines ripped out. All the identification marks except the registration and Ship No. 813 were very roughly painted out during the night. |

YV-2722P (cn 402B-0239) Ran out of the runway due to right engine fail and aborted take off. The captain stopped it barely 10 meters before the fence and as you can see few meters in front of the plane there is a steep slope. The pic was taken from a street that is located just after the fence. The day before the incident they didn't take off because they had problems with engine number 2. Fortunately nobody was hurt. Caused by a locked brake due to a broken line. Notice the wave in the grooving, this condition forms from continued heavy braking when the pavement is hot during warm summer days. |

ZS-PCJ (cn 869) Details not to hand as how this aircraft crashed into a house so close to Virginia Airport, but it looks as if an engine failed, 7-8 people on board seriously injured. |
