JA806A (cn 34515/40) ANA's daily final departure from Haneda NH203 is perfectly reflected on the water-filled apron as she is departing for Frankfurt at 1am. An exciting rainy season beloved by (very few) night spotters is starting soon! [Nikon D700, Nikkor 24-120mm F4] |

A7-BAK (cn 36097/859) Taxiing to the gate after arriving from DOH as QR640. The dark twilight sky and bright aircraft lights enhance the appearance of this already sharp-looking aircraft. |

A5-RGI (cn 3950) A different perspective of your regular A319. Check out those beautiful reflections on the fuselage! Since Paro airport, Druk Air's home base, is VFR-only with no night landing facilities, the airline overnights its airplanes and crews at some of its international destinations, so that they can arrive back in Paro in daylight. This one will fly back as KB 205 in the morning. Many thanks to Michael Brazier for his editing help, and Girish for the idea. [Canon EOS 40D + Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM] |

HL7615 (cn 075) A shot that is normally not possible, as the visitor's terrace closes at 6pm, which is unfortunately before most of the 'heavies' leave. But thanks to their reopening festivities they had longer opening times for one weekend in march. I could not miss this chance, although it was really cold on that day. This picture shows the main attraction: Korean Air's A380. You can see the officers waving as well as the airport sightseeing bus stopping to have a good view on this huge bird. |

HS-TKC (cn 29211/250) It's quite a challenge to fit an entire 777-300 in your frame at night at close quarters! As I pressed the shutter, I crossed my fingers and prayed that "Kwanmuang" would not move till the picture was taken, and I was gladly obliged! "Thai 316" is ready for departure back to Bangkok, a moment before the taxi lights came on. Many thanks to Michael Brazier for his editing help. [Canon EOS 40D + Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM] |
