an autumn morning seen during Approach for 08L in MUC. The rising sun cleared the fog a bit, the airport just switched from CAT II to regular CAT I operations, still there are a lot of fog patches. You can see aircraft departing from both RWYs and the silhouette of MUCs ATC tower. |

VH-HID (cn 1262) As the sun sinks on the Friday leading up to the 2012 Jamestown Air Spectacular, a privileged few are taken for a flight aboard Douglas Hamilton's gleaming Lockheed Electra. This aircraft was first registered in Australia in 2007 imported from the United States (N712FM). Prior to this, it had several registrations: N299A; N37P; NC48471; and 38-545 with the United States Army Air Corps (USAAC). It did look glorious in the late afternoon sun as it took off from runway 16 at Jamestown Airfield. |

75 red Former plane of "Sky hussars" aerobatics team. Probably only in Russia you can witness such strange color scheme. But don't think that it's a shame and we don't take care about planes! Main thing that this plane have been just modernized up to 'SM' standart and takes off for a first time after maintenance. It would be repainted just over time.
