OE-LAM (cn 223) Despite the dismal weather almost the full length of the magnificent Kansai terminal, designed by Renzo Piano, can be seen. The 1.7 kilometer (1 mile) long terminal building features a roof that forms a continuous arc from end to end, with the piers very low at the outer limits whilst quite high in the centre where the undulating roof of the check-in hall can also been seen. In front of the terminal are two JAL DC-10s, a China Eastern A300, a JAL 767, a JAL MD-80 in the new colours, three ANA 767s, a Korean Air A330, a United 777 and nearest an Austrian Airlines A330 |

I have not had any luck getting THAI at night, on my other trips to LAX, as they always parked on the south side of the TBIT. I was very fortunate to get this shot, because about 15 minutes after I took it, the alley was covered with the marine layer, which you can already see forming in the hills behind the airport.
