B-16701 (cn 32639/524) A majority of the time I am sharing shots with you taken right under the AC, or on the side. Usually from a WA perspective. However, today I am highlighting those locations as BR012 passes over them. The In N Out below and left of her nose. The small park with lots of trees and green grass. The intersection of Sepulveda and Lincoln right under her belly. And lastly, the big block LAX letters below and right of her tail. A unique view on a lovely clear day. Local time 14:00:33. |

EI-*** Floating gently down to runway 33, displaying some strange air disturbance effects. This image shows just how unlevel Birmingham's runway really is! Thanks to Paul Markman for the edit. (Canon EOS 50D & EF70-200 F4 L) |

JA8985 (cn 27652/72) Approaching to perform another set of touch and go during the training flight. We had just passed through the rainy season, which gave us an incredible view of the coral reflection. Those clouds were also affected by the coral reflection. Isn't that amazing? Today, the more flight simulator has been introduced, the more difficult to find a training flight under that perfect scenery. I will be appreciated if you use this photo for your desktop. |

N584UA (cn 26706/559) Here is a different view of a parallel landing at SFO. An US A321 is over the numbers for 28R while an UA 752 is just beyond the numbers for 28L. An UA 744 (N104UA) is holding short of 28R. Note the hold bars between the two runways just barely fit the 747. To see a ground level view of this same landing, please see photo 779790 by I. Gunawan. |

Flying in the mountains gave me a ton of photo oppertunities. This is possibly the coolest, located at the top of a mountain near Asheville the airport elevation is 4,400 feet and the tallest part of the mountain was 6,000 feet. You need permission to land there but it looks like there is a nice resort and golf course next to it. Notice the vibrant colours of the leaves as they start to turn. |

B-HOR (cn 24631/771) Double treat: I have seen many F16s, F15s do side by side landing but this was unusual. MX A320 descended on glideslope from 3500 AGL for Rwy 24R while CX 744 did same from 2200 AGL for Left side. Cathay 744 was told to hold 170 kts steady so MX can land just a bit ahead. And the result was perfect approach with spectacular results. |

RA-86140 (cn 51483211102) No more runway left = Must rotate! Look at where the 1000 ft marker sign and where the plane is! One heart-stopping takeoff! The front gear of the plane actually got up before the '1' marker but the body remains heavy. I think the pilots know exactly where to rotate. The Ilyushin also kicked up a large sandstorm on the beach and it was barely above it after finally airborne. IL86 is such a beast! [Nikon D2x, High speed crop mode] |
