N6067E (cn 38636/1434) Finishing its maiden flight. The Challenger holding short received takeoff clearance but told the tower they would wait to see the 748i land. They ended up waiting over 15 minutes but it was worth it. |

PH-BQN / QN-013 (cn 32720/561) Many people have asked me, "Why do you keep commenting KLM forever?" Well, 1) Many of the pilots wave at you when snapping a shot. 2) The livery KLM has is one of my favourites (Along with American Airlines). 3) The type of a/c they have in their fleet and fly them to P.I.A. and 4) The good people from the Netherlands that either have commented on my photos or sent me messages personally, this photo is dedicated to all of you! |

HS-UTP (cn 20530/196) Entered service with JAL in 1972. This former Orient Thai 747-200 is now parked in Phitsanulok, Thailand without it's engines. This and another Oreint Thai 747 parked here were recently involved in a tax fraud investigation by the Thai Police who alleged the aircraft was being parted out without paying taxes on the profits. Since then all of the reg markings have been painted over and the Thai script was added indicating that the plane was donated for education and learning. |
