N6812 This is not only an original Sopwith Camel, but it is the ACTUAL aircraft flown by Lt Stuart D Culley during World War I. He is the most famous Camel pilot, most notably for his fearlessly brave flight on 11th August 1918. In this aircraft he took off from a 5ft flight deck of a wooded platform towed behind the naval destroyer HMS Redoubt, then climbed to over 18,000ft (taking an hour) to shoot down and destroy the German Zeppelin L.53 airship. Notice the machine guns on top of the upper wing. |

4 Photo was taken in 1917 or earlier by my grand uncle. He was a pilot in the German Air Force. I don't know the location for sure (Belgium, France, or Germany). Thanks Anthony Harrington for information about the plane! |

CF-EML / 14 (cn 3579) [4:51pm] I'm very lucky to have seen this one of a kind original Me-109 this close. It is owned by Edward D. Russell of Niagara Falls, Canada. After talking to the pilot I was informed that it was returning from Thunder over Michigan air show. I also found out that every 100 flying hours this plane is overhauled at a cost of $300,000. |

Probably former 747 BLACK. I don't really think this plane belongs to Syrian Air Force but many sources say about it. And also I can't totally agree with modification of this bird - look there are hinges at the centre of a wings. Folding wing should have carrier-based version. Also note reinforced landing gear - for carrier landing. But there is no arrestor hook... Strange plane. Also you can see some extra targeting equipment under engines. All suggestions are welcome.
