N862FT (cn 45948/321) 1st company aircraft to wear these colors. Her tail was hanging over the fence. Manufactured October 20, 1967. Delivery date was December 28, 1967. Built as DC-8-61CF, cvt'd to DC-8-71CF in August 1985. Other serials - N8955U with Saturn Awys, EFS Bahamas, Seaboard World Als, Capitol Intl Als, and Trans Intl Als, N862FT with Flying Tigers, UPS, and Transamerica, and also N748UP with Interstate Als and UPS. Sadly, W/O February 8, 2006 at PHL as N748UP with UPS. Landed with fire burning in aft cargo area.

Wears FN 868 with Burlington Air Express. Stored at RKT (Ras Al Khaimah) on January 3, 2009.

Wears FN 870 with BAX Global. Store at MZJ in January 2001. Still at MZJ in 2014.
