European Aircharter - EAL
Boeing 747-236B
Philipsburg / St. Maarten - Princess Juliana (SXM / TNCM)
St. Maarten, December 12, 2004
Remark
Photographer
G-BDXE (cn 21350/321) It's so low that you think you could jump up and touch the tires! About half a second later my hat went flying and landed some 30 feet away. This European Aircharter 747 took the place of the Corsair 747 that was supposed to arrive several hour earlier. When this aircraft and the Air France A340 departed that evening, the Coast Guard arrived and watched over the beach (either to join in or to see if anyone gets hurt or blown into the water, I guess).
