British Midland Airways - BMA
Boeing 737-4Y0
Off-Airport - Kegworth area
UK - England, January 10, 1989
Remark
Photographer
G-OBME (cn 23867/1603) Jan 8th 2004 saw the 15th anniversary of this accident and it is therefore perhaps an appropriate time to upload this shot in memory of those who lost their lives and in tribute to the numerous people who were there helping on the night - emergency services, airport staff and members of the general public. This shot was taken two days later when teams had arrived to take the wreckage away to the AAIB at Farnborough.
