USA - Army
De Havilland Canada C-8A Buffalo (DHC-5D)
Fort Rucker / Ozark - Cairns AAF (OZR / KOZR)
USA - Alabama, April 1966
Remark
Photographer
63-13689 (cn 3) Two rare ones here. This is Buffalo prototype No.3 on the Test Board ramp being evaluated by the Army, which never bought the Buffalo. Three went to the USAF and this one to the Navy. In the background is a Caribou prototype YAC-1, 57-3079. The Caribou is now at the museum at Ft. Eustis VA. Note the 1st Cav patch and the Playboy bunny.
