Iberia
Airbus A320-214
Barcelona (- El Prat) (BCN / LEBL)
Spain, May 12, 2001
Remark
Photographer
EC-HKN (cn 1347) Too low!!!! I was shooting a/c on Rwy 20 when I realised that this 320 was approaching way too low and turned the camera to capture it. Fortunately the truck driver hit the brakes before passing below! As you can see, you can get really close to the action here. (As of mid-June 2001 this road section has been closed and deviated) Aircraft was re-registred EC-HUL in July 2001. See a normal approach

F-BPVY (cn 21745/370) This one was MUCH lower than anything else that came in while we were here. The person in the white shirt just under the nose wheel is Chris Weldy. See it from his angle

Lufthansa
Boeing 737-330
London - Heathrow (LHR / EGLL)
UK - England, February 7, 2004
Remark
Photographer
D-AB** Where on Earth but in Heathrow can you see 6(!!!!) planes lining up for landing on one runway?? Crazy!! I can see 3 Airbusses, 2 unidentifiable planes and the Lufthansa 737. [After getting so many e-mails about this shot: Ok, LHR is not the only airport you can see this. Also at Copenhagen, O'Hare, Denver, etc. ... I still find it fascinating :) ]

KLM - Royal Dutch Airlines
Boeing 747-406
Philipsburg / St. Maarten - Princess Juliana (SXM / TNCM)
St. Maarten, July 2, 2006
Remark
Photographer
PH-BFG / FG-003 (cn 24517/782) Well I don’t think this really needs a comment. It speaks for itself. Truly SXM trademark at its best. If he were much lower he would have gotten the fence and these guys’ heads. Not very often you see grown men ducking down there. What an awesome weekend this was. Thanks guys!

Netherlands, May 30, 2004
Remark

PH-BFU / FU-038 (cn 28196/1127) I love the smell of burning rubber! There is great detail in the flap section of this 747. Also note the wrinkles in the hull of the plane. Will these be permanent or just because of the pressure of the landing. Pan shot at 1/160s
