D-4662 / BB (cn 3E327) A nice day for soaring. D-4662 "BB" is taking me to Donauwörth here. Even if the Aircraft is no the newest, it was build in the 80's, there are a couple of nice instruments. We have a LX5000 with a build in GPS logger and it is showing us that we are aboud 5km NW of Augsburg airport. The aircraft is loosing height and we expect 1 m/s thermal in front of us. BB is also equiped with a FLARM collision warning system wich is GPS based and should be build in in every GA aircraft if you ask me! |
