9V-SMC (cn 24063/736) Inspired by Mr. Hunt, I couldn't resist any longer to dig up a real Kai Tak shot. After spending some days on the building for the famous banking shots, I decided to go elsewhere. I found another nice roof and after a while, I was accompanied by a guy. Years later on, I discovered that it was Alan Tsui when I saw his photo on this site and which can be seen here. Compare and you'll find out that everything is similar.... |

EC-HKN (cn 1347) Too low!!!! I was shooting a/c on Rwy 20 when I realised that this 320 was approaching way too low and turned the camera to capture it. Fortunately the truck driver hit the brakes before passing below! As you can see, you can get really close to the action here. (As of mid-June 2001 this road section has been closed and deviated) Aircraft was re-registred EC-HUL in July 2001. See a normal approach |

PH-BQH / QH-008 (cn 32705/493) In my opinion the ultimate GE-90 photo. The fanblades seem to be goldplated, and are visible enough for you to count each and every one of them. |

9V-SQI (cn 28530/390) Approaching the holding point for runway 02C, the main point of interest was not the B772 in the foreground. Soon to become a common sight in Singapore by 2007 [Nikon D200] |

N77014 (cn 29862/253) I had a flight back home the night before, but when I found out MAX was doing IAH - NRT on the next day I decided to stay at IAH... With no place to go, no money, no food, no hotel… not anything. I managed to survive the night in between terminals as I waited for a moment I had dreamed for a long time... I was rewarded with this superb 18mm shot of MAX that I will treasure for all my life. |
