N763NC / 9854 (cn 47716/832) Retiring soon? Engineless and stagnant these planes are standing here for a while. N763NC on the left lost control and collided with an Airbus A319 spilling fuel into the cockpit and opening the cabin roof. Five days before that, a fuel truck collided into the nose of N960N on the right. |

N277US (cn 21156/1170) Seen still with the "Orient" titles, whilst many others had already changed to just Northwest when this photograph was taken. This, the 1170th 727 built, was just 12 years old when photographed here |

N761NC (cn 47709/814) This is the flight deck of my first ever DC9 flight! I don't know why everyone knocks the DC9, i quite liked it personally. This shot is showing the cockpit and the area where the first officer would sit. In the left seat sits the captain of this flight. I love these old cockpits, i always enjoy viewing them more than the newer LCD type. This was shot at 10:35pm after arriving at EWR from DTW. Again, the 15mm was used to get a nice wide view.
