N656US (cn 26847/486) WOW!!! I was taking some pictures at the end of Rwy 24 when this US Airways n/c came over shooting flames and making loud bangs. I counted 8 of them, and lucky for me, at least 3 times I got the fire on the photo with the result like this. Those people inside must have been shocked really hard with all those flames and bangs! btw: I like their new paintjob! [Camera: EOS 300D Lens: Canon 90-300mm] |

N2053C / 138366/XE (cn 200-437) I was out working in my yard when this one flew over with its engine making loud pops. He was losing altitude and went behind the trees landing on a back road. A great deal of credit to the pilot for a safe landing. Shown here being towed back to LVK via Interstate 580 through Livermore. |

F-WWOW (cn 001) Welcome to Singapore... who will be the first airport to fly the A380 and on this occasion was the first to host the aircraft on its inaugural intercontinental flight and first sortie outside of Europe. Looking majestic wearing Singapore Airlines' titles as she crosses the South Cross taxiway. I could not have pulled off this shot with the help of Kok Chwee, thanks buddy! [Nikon D70] |

B-HOR (cn 24631/771) Double treat: I have seen many F16s, F15s do side by side landing but this was unusual. MX A320 descended on glideslope from 3500 AGL for Rwy 24R while CX 744 did same from 2200 AGL for Left side. Cathay 744 was told to hold 170 kts steady so MX can land just a bit ahead. And the result was perfect approach with spectacular results. |

F-WWDD (cn 004) No comment, ENJOY!! Note the RR engines. Emirates choose GP7200 engines for their A380's. |
