1716 (cn 382-5023) There's no better location to view the Golden Gate Bridge than from a Coast Guard C-130...Note the trail of dust left behind from our engines. |

Photo were taken while performing a runway 20 approach after a rain show. The fast moving clouds in the far side plus with the beautiful airport scence made this one a superbe photo.Note a Sichuan Airbus was holding for taking off after our clearance of the runway. Special Thanks to Islam_ Chen and Andy Zhang to make this photo possible. |

N8**NW Today the early morning rush of eastbound planes left contrails that lasted forever. Even more remarkable is the nearly perfect grid in the sky, that is being completed by a plane far away |

So mesmerised by this sight that I almost forgot to take a photograph. Four aircraft in all dominated by the A330 in front and its huge contrail. |

F-OHQX (cn 3009) An Islander heads down the infamous approach into St barts where me, ChrisK, ChrisS, and RyanD spent a wonderful day shooting, drinking, and eating at possibly one of the best resturants in the world. Does it get much better than this? Oh and 10 points if you can spot a certain Mr Ryan Davis trying to get a artisitic shot! |

DQ-FJK (cn 24064/755) FJ911 maintaining 38,000' on A579 between Nadi and Sydney. We were maintaining 37,000' on A464, tracks that intersect at almost 90 degrees...so much for the big sky theory! |

The classic photo of the fantastic Santos Dummont airport, made from the Sugar Loaf in Rio de Janeiro. I must say that from all the airport overviews I had the pleasure of seeing, not a single one beats the beauty of Santos Dummont. Just for curiosity the land where the airport is, was claimed to the Ocean (as this is the Guanabara bay). There was a hill at Rio downtown that was lowered and with the soil this "aterro" (land reclamation) was made. My thanks to all from Contato Radar. You guys rule!! |

PH-BFG / FG-003 (cn 24517/782) This 747 took one extremely low pass over the Maho Bay before touching down before the piano keys on runway 09. Scary stuff! |
