G-BDXI (cn 21830/430) Since the events of September 2001 British Airways have stored numerous redundant aircraft at Cardiff. Some have gone on to fly again, some have not. This is the last one - Having had all her useful parts removed over the previous weeks the remainder of the airframe was broken up for scrap in just a couple of days. :-(( Sony F717. |

G-BDXF (cn 21351/323) Despite what it says on the fuselage, G-BSXF is actually a Cameron balloon; this registration has for some reason been altered. This aircraft is actually G-BDXF, which is owned by European Skybus and carries the remains of the livery of its final operator, Corsair, to whom it was chartered. Seen parked on the western end of the crosswind runway a few weeks before being towed to the eastern end of the airfield to be broken up alongside G-BDXE. |
