FedEx - Federal Express
Boeing 727-227/Adv(F)
Windsor Locks (Hartford / Springfield) - Bradley International (BDL / KBDL)
USA - Connecticut, December 24, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N494FE (cn 21532/1453) A very unusual daytime departure from Bradley, as this FedEx 727 is outbound from Runway 15 - going against the flow of traffic, no less. FedEx managed to turn this plane in less than 90 minutes. Those Christmas packages absolutely, positively must get to their destination on time!

Southwest Airlines
Boeing 737-7H4
Windsor Locks (Hartford / Springfield) - Bradley International (BDL / KBDL)
USA - Connecticut, July 14, 2005
Remark
Photographer
N214WN (cn 32486/1721) Pulling onto Runway 24 as Southwest 1103 to Chicago Midway. Southwest has been kind enough to send this plane to BDL quite often, but this is the first day I've caught it here with decent lighting.

USA - Connecticut, April 6, 2005
Remark
Photographer
78-0639 / CT (cn A10-0259) This A-10 is seen making a low, fast pass over Runway 33. He came back around a few minutes later for a full stop landing, providing a good impromptu show for waiting airport passengers.

Remark

78-0621 / CT (cn A10-0241) 2003/2004 marks the 118th FS's 80 year anniversary, being the third oldest ANG squadron out there. As the 118th Recon Squadron in WWII, the unit's P-51's wore a big black lightning bolt on the side of their fighters because they were known as "The Black Lightning Squadron." So one of the pilots came up with the idea to do a commemorative scheme for the 80 year anniversary.
