PT-MVQ (cn 968) [Canon 7D + Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM] On September 26, 2012, this TAM A330-200 made a tower fly-by on Runway 22R, following a go-around on Runway 22L. The tower confirmed that the nose gear was stuck perpendicular to the plane, and the A330 set up for an approach to Runway 31L, with emergency vehicles standing by. As the main gear touched, the nose gear moved back to its normal position, and the aircraft rolled out safely. |

On this day in Porto Alegre were adverse weather conditions for landing that made the "Arara" land in Florianopolis to the delight of his colleagues from the airport. PT-MXC (cn 3294) This magnificent place you can see is RECIFE! The capital of the northeast. You probably know enough about Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. What you may not know is that Recife is the second city with most buildings being built and currently the third skyline of Brazil. This photo shows a little bit of that place. Natural beauty and large buildings side by side in perfect harmony! There is no way to visit this beautiful place and not fall in love. Even though I am from Santa Catarina State (south of Brazil) today i have Pernambuco in my heart. Check out this light of 40 degrees reflecting on the landscape. |

Jetliners headed to SDU’s rwy 02 flew directly overhead of us before making a tight left turn, flying past Sugar Loaf and landing. SDU operations start shortly before dawn, being TAM’s A319 usually the first two inbound airliners. |

PT-MUA (cn 37664/727) Ex N5573S. TAM's newest flagship received in August 17th doing its last flight to Recife as "TAM 9511" to Sao Paulo/Guarulhos. For a period of almost one month, PT-MUA made flights from Sao Paulo to Recife and Santiago do Chile for crew and ground staff certification and training.
