More than 300 pounds of paint were removed giving the plane this silver look. Will be tested for a few weeks, if the results are good this scheme will be applied to the whole 767 fleet. C-GDSP / 613 (cn 24142/229) Air Canada's "Sparkling Silver" B762 makes an appearance in Hawaii and is seen taxiing out to runway 08R as AC44. Yep, finally caught this bird, and she sure is giving off a nice reflection of her wing, but she still can't compare with JAL's silver B744F. Seems like the rear end of the fuselage is getting pretty dull and scratched up, while the maple leaf decal on the tail is peeling. This is Air Canada's new approach in saving money due to the soaring fuel costs. |

JA8081 (cn 25064/851) I've seen the Space Shuttle take-off and I've seen plenty of topless women in SXM but nothing comes close to a 747 coming directly in your direction just a few hundred feet below you! This was really amazing. It's a real air-to-air picture, no discussions please! |
