We are about half way between Long Beach, CA and Albuqureque, NM. What a beautiful aircraft....Thanks to the Gulfstream staff and Craig O'Neil for allowing me on this flight. Also thanks to Blaine Hammond for letting me hang out in the left seat! UPDATE...Aircraft is on the return leg from Albuqureque, NM. We never landed there just turned around and headed back. |

VP-CBX (cn 511) By now you all probably know that the approach into Samedan is an amazing one, but this Gulf just beats what I've seen so far. Thanks to quite some crosswind it seems like he is heading in my direction which results in the ability to get a beautiful head-on shot of this Bizjet. This is a full colour photo and not manipulated at all. The sun was directly in line with the airplane approaching, that's why this fuselage is shadowed too, and thanks to the bright snow from below the full plane is lit perfectly, while the scenery is severely underexposed. VT-PLL (cn 1254) Here is a 8mm view of the extra luxurious bird who was ferrying the Indian Union Civil Aviation Minister to Chandigarh, my home town, for the signing of the MOU for the new Chandigarh International Airport. The first officer and Captain of this beauty were really cool guys! The Captain turned out to be one of my friends uncles :) So that was cool! This GIV has such a magnificent cockpit! Its difficult to get into the pilots seats, but, once you in them, you have ample space. First few pictures of Chandigarh (VICG) in the airliners.net database.
