SP-LDI (cn 17000073) Afternoon flight from Warsaw to Vienna, passing a heavy local rainshower a few minutes after take-off. Eventhough it was in the middle of the afternoon, the sky grew dark, and the sight of those breaking clouds was quite amazing to me. |

9V-SKB (cn 005) The biggest wing just got bigger! Probably an optical illusion, due to its size, but those spoilers are the size of barn doors. Absolutely gigantic! Onboard SIA318, routing SIN-LHR. Today's flight was all of 13½ hours, extremely torturous if it wasn't for the fact SIA put on a top-notch show. Food, IFE and aircraft were all brilliant. Taken from seat 48A. Difficult shot due to there being 3 panes to shoot through, 2 of them being about 10 inches apart. We're touching down here at about 19.40LT, night's setting in. What a great flight! |

9V-SKB (cn 005) Onboard SIA317 routing LHR-SIN. This is the view of the lower deck, having made our way down the aft stairwell to get here. This picture certainly does the aircraft no justice if you want to see the size of it. It's enormous. Very wide and extremely spacious! This is just one of the sections, from row 54-63, of the 4 available. Check out the size of the LCD screens which make up part of the amazing IFE. |

Nightlife at RWY 31R in TWAN style. This is the best known spotting place in BUD, we called "patak" (watercourse or creek). The main lights are landing lights of airplanes. There are other airplane lights in the picture near the horizon. In the ground there are reflectors of cars. In the middle of circles the shortest strip is Polaris. The blue stars near the mid-horizon are stars of Big Dipper which is the best known formation in the northern sky, but this not constellation, it's only part of Ursa Maior. |
