PH-BFU / FU-038 (cn 28196/1127) Moments before sunrise this 747 arrives in a shroud of mist. I just love this spooky atmosphere! |

PK-GPC (cn 140) "Garuda's in the Mist" An early foggy arrival for the international aircraft. A far cry form the 18 knot crosswinds we had the week before. (Any editing of the photo resulted in poorer picture quality. This shot was straight from the camera) |

N416QX (cn 4083) Very cold this morning. -29.C Everything left a tad late. Departing to Seattle, Washington. The mist lasted more that the 16 second exposure. It was like it was frozen in time. |

G-JMAB (cn 32242/963) Early morning arrival through the mist. Vapour trails off the wingtips and flaps due weather conditions. |

9M-MRD (cn 28411/84) Man o man, nailed her!! Got myself soaking wet again for this one, but it was definitely well worth it! Difficult light conditions and all the rain coming down made this one quite hard to get. Details are there, though, just check out the main gear and all the water that gets blown around it. I just now noticed that the Malaysia decal is again shown on the outer side of the engine, while the "RR" sign is on the inside. |

G-VGAS (cn 639) Varga Girl had vortices, vapour, moisture and fogging all at once! This light shows how the fuselage paint scheme changes tone in different conditions. Noticeable in this shot is how the central MLG is angled differently from the other two. In the lower part of the image is a departing aircraft off 09R and directly under this Virgin 346 is a stunned flock of birds! I think I'd be stunned too going head to head with this monster! |
