Remark

YV-2722P (cn 402B-0239) Ran out of the runway due to right engine fail and aborted take off. The captain stopped it barely 10 meters before the fence and as you can see few meters in front of the plane there is a steep slope. The pic was taken from a street that is located just after the fence. The day before the incident they didn't take off because they had problems with engine number 2. Fortunately nobody was hurt. Remark

N54211 (cn 27-7554006) Following a hydraulic failure the nose wheel failed to deploy whilst landing at Elstree on Feb 5, 2005. The props were feathered and remained undamaged during the emergency landing. Unfortunately as attempts were made to remove the aircraft from the runway the main wheels collapsed. The pilot and passenger escaped uninjured.

Sweden, September 11, 2004
Remark

OY-CLW (cn 30-1856) Although non-fatal, the pilot did suffer head injuries and has been hospitalized. Yesterday afternoon, shortly after a Southerly departure, this PA30's engines went dead. Miraculously the pilot steered away from the nearby farms in the area and ditched it in this field. Unbelievable how someone could come out of that alive! Aircraft has been cordoned off and a guard put on to fend any treasure hunters off!
