Only one commercial flight comes in to Baguio which is located on a mountain province 4242 ft above sea level, 250 kilometers north of Manila. It is called the summer capital of the Philippines because of its cooler climate (8 degrees cooler). Photo taken on the Rwy 9 end, facing towards Rwy 28. |

Discovery started STS-121 mission with a liftoff at 2:37:55 pm EDT (1837:55 GMT) from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. End of roll manouver (at 2:38:13 PM EST @ 1002MPH & T+00:18). D-ABTH (cn 25047/856) I was half the way on the road to my house when I saw this bird turning final into MEX… I decided to go home... grabed my tripod and then drove back to the airport hoping to have a shot at him…. This is the first capture of the Lufthansa Flagship Star Alliance 747 jumbo at dark (with over 200 pics on the DB)… in all of it glory I could say! |

OO-VLM (cn 20135) VLM's flight VG215 arrives from Rotterdam (RTM). As you can see, the descent to LCY's Rwy 10 brings the traffic right over the City of London skyline. Always a spectacular place to fly in or out of - just keep your fingers crossed that you're flying over London and not in the opposite direction over Essex! Beautiful still night on the Royal Victoria Dock. |
