HB-IOL (cn 1144) Taxiing for takeoff. Two things of note in this picture. The "brand-new" Star Alliance sticker which has already begun to peel off. And that's my dad's arm in the fourth window! [Olympus E-500] |

HB-IQG (cn 275) Swiss' dominance of Terminal 4 during Trans-Atlantic rush hour. There is also another LX 332 out of the frame waiting to go to ZRH later on that night. The near 332 is to go to GVA, and the far one was my ride to ZRH. [Olympus Evolt E-500] |

G-BOAD (cn 210) Close your eyes and you're at FL600, cruising across the Atlantic at Mach 2 with a glass of champagne in hand. Very different picture than this quiet, empty cabin. |

9V-SVJ (cn 32335/415) This Triple Seven is fitted with Rolls Royce Trent 892 engines. You get some sense of the enormous power of these engines when you look at this vortex created by the hugely powerful intake of air, in an apparently dry environment. |
