One might think we were too low on approach to La Palma's Rwy 19 while taking this picture, according to PAPI lights:in fact, we were comfortably sitting in our room at the Taburiente Playa Hotel. Only two Binter ATR-72 are parked at the ramp. |

Right after getting airborne on Rwy 01L we made a left turn, resulting in a beautiful overview of the SFO Int'l airport. Holding short of Rwy 28R is a United 744 bound for Frankfurt and right behind on TWY F is a Lufthansa 744 going as well for Rwy 28R and as well to Frankfurt. Right at the ATC Tower is the old Int'l Terminal which will be reconstructed or demolished shortly. |
