Case in point, this beautiful golden sunset that only lasted for a few minutes. After that the sun came out and gave me a totally different look, but I love the way these few minutes played out. Here we see MAS94 from Taipei about to land on 24R. Local time was 17:44, with sunset occurring at 18:13..... to be exact. |

By the orientation of the runways here in Mexico City, photography during the winter months becomes a bit harder, but there are indeed some great possible angles if you press down the shutter button at the right time. In this frame Lufthansa flight 498 from Frankfurt is arriving just 8 or 9 minutes before the sun hides in the horizon. |

N2**UP It is always delighted to see some snow on the undercarriage is blown off by the air stream. This UPS MD-11F is now leaving Anchorage from runway 32 with some interesting selection of cargo airplanes behinds. As this photograph was taken the moment after the sun broke through the peak of mountains, the orange hue gives us a warm atmosphere. In a reality, it is -9F (-22.8C) which makes me pretty cold; but, as you might know, I like crispy winter day so that I really enjoy what I am doing here!! |

Just the day before the mercury hit 90 degrees at LAX but today was another story. Low clouds had started to roll in and provided the condensation to liven up this shot. |
