9M-MRI (cn 28416/155) About 10 seconds after liftoff from runway 19R something happens with the left engine. Alot of smoke and fragments of metal and other material falls down on the runway. At first the pilots don't get any indications in the cockpit and plan to go on to Kuala Lumpur. Then we decide to call Arlanda duty officer to make sure that they have noticed the pieces from the engine on the runway. Shortly after that the pilots requests fueldump and return to ARN safely. HB-IQH (cn 288) That's why I love a long lens! Too far away and too fast for your own eyes, you'd never be able to see this: The tire that's already made contact with terra firma is spinning like mad while on the front one you can clearly read the tire brand, it's amazing! Check it out, you'll like it I'm sure! |

N226NW (cn 46583/292) Is departing with heavy condensation heading for San Francisco as NW28 from Tokyo Narita. I was so fascinated to hear the weather was expected to be heavy rain on that day because I was almost ready to take the identical scene for DC-10 that I took last July. Moreover, at this time, we can see the thin trails from both of the horizontal stabilizers. I really appreciated to see not only that I could encounter almost exactly the same situation but also that my wife took this scene right next to me. |

G-VTOP (cn 28194/1100) Now here's what I've been dreaming for months... maybe even years! We both departed USA's sunshine state and met up over the atlantic ocean. We played like hide-and-seek on nearly 40'000 feet up in the clear night skies. And just as Virgin 16 changed course to London, while we continued to Zurich this dreamy sight came true |

PR-GTD (cn 34653/2039) Something like two weeks and one day after the date of this photo , this same aircraft had your land expected at this same airport for thousands of people. Unfortunatly it doesn't ever occured. Gol's flight number 1907 had disappeared in the middle of the Amazon Forest , accomplished largest and the most tragical accident of all brazilian aviation history. Dedicated to all flight 1907 victms! |
