Halfway the runway, a Lufthansa B737 is in take off and in front, one of the 2 Lauda Air aircraft gets into position. On the left KL611 to Chicago (KORD/ORD) is taxiing to rwy 36L while on the far right a KLM A330-200 is being de-iced at the new P10 position next to J-Platform. Behind it the training mock-up for the fire services can be seen. |

Overflying Mirny (UERR) airport in northeastern Siberia enroute Osaka-Amsterdam (KL868). As you can see, runway 06 has a very special short final here. It passes very close to the huge (!) diamond mine (now closed) just west of the airport. |

EC-HKN (cn 1347) Too low!!!! I was shooting a/c on Rwy 20 when I realised that this 320 was approaching way too low and turned the camera to capture it. Fortunately the truck driver hit the brakes before passing below! As you can see, you can get really close to the action here. (As of mid-June 2001 this road section has been closed and deviated) Aircraft was re-registred EC-HUL in July 2001. See a normal approach |

F-BPVY (cn 21745/370) Yeah, he is REAL low! If Air France had names for their aircraft like Pan Am did, we could call this one "Clipper of the Fence". |

G-WWBB (cn 404) Seen departing 24L with vapour above the wings. This aircraft is seen in a very brief patch of sun on an otherwise very "moody" morning. |

For sure one of the most beautiful airport in the world. Check in the threshold of RWY 20R a Boeing 737 blasts water as full power is applied. In the oposite threshold my friend and spotter Bernardo Andrade was taking some pictures. [Canon EOS 30D - Brenda] |

4525 (cn 566/GS173/4225) That's a really expensive pair of hair dryers! The glowing points in the jet pipes are fuel injectors for the afterburners. Also note the thrust reverser actuation mechanism between the two nozzles. Royal International Air Tattoo 2005. |
