G-BOAG (cn 214) Just before shutting down her engines at Seattle's Boeing Field and completing her life as an airliner. Captain Mike Bannister waives the Union Jack and Captain Les Brodie waives the Stars and Stripes as Alpha Golf taxies up to the museum ramp. Thousands who want to become a witness of centennial advance of flight knew about this; however, we have to move the clock forward to open another centennial. It was truly a beautiful and most memorable autumn afternoon which I will never forget. |
