B-HLC (cn 099) "Are you looking at me 'cos I'm looking at you and I've got right of way!" A one in a million shot for me, which left me estatic. I saw the 2 SQ B747s being held to allow the CX A330 to pass, and decided to try a photo. I didn't realise that the two sets of pilots would be having a staring match. |

N584UA (cn 26706/559) Here is a different view of a parallel landing at SFO. An US A321 is over the numbers for 28R while an UA 752 is just beyond the numbers for 28L. An UA 744 (N104UA) is holding short of 28R. Note the hold bars between the two runways just barely fit the 747. To see a ground level view of this same landing, please see photo 779790 by I. Gunawan. |

N***** Rare 31R operations at DFW today due to high winds. We have two ERJ's, two 757's, two MD-80's, one CRJ, and the lone DC-10 bringing up the rear.. Canon 1D2 - ISO200 - F13 for 1/320th @ 600mm. |

D-AIGL (cn 135) We all know that Terminal II is dominated by LH, but this is getting a little bit out of hand. Blue tails all over the place..... |

N799UA (cn 26926/139) Various airplanes from the various airliners are holding together for take-off clearance at runway 25 at Denver International. United B777, Frontier A319, SkyWest Brasilia, United B757, Mesa CRJ, and Air Wisconsin Bae 146 can be seen in this photograph. Interesting to see that the taxiway is sloping down to the runway. As we expected a nice and clear weather in the morning, the cloud formation tells us that we might have a chance of snow today. During the Holiday season, mega airport is in full swing. |

N368NW (cn 996) Well its not Northwest's new colors but I think I have every other airplane in existence back there. All these guys are afraid of cross-winds so they all go for the same "safe" runway. |

N584UA (cn 26706/559) Parallel landing in progress while UA 744 (N104UA) squeezes in between the two runways. Also under US A321 front landing gear is a DL 757 on approach for OAK. Want to see how this scene looks from a bird's eye perspective? Check out photo 777174 by Ben Wang. |

N534UA (cn 25129/372) I always thought this spot would make a nice shot so I went to it that day just hoping there would be 3 or 4 aircraft for a lineup. I couldn't dream this scene up any better. As this 752 turns onto the active of RW25 there are around 40 aircraft lined up behind it. How would you like to be No.40 in line? |
