N584UA (cn 26706/559) Here is a different view of a parallel landing at SFO. An US A321 is over the numbers for 28R while an UA 752 is just beyond the numbers for 28L. An UA 744 (N104UA) is holding short of 28R. Note the hold bars between the two runways just barely fit the 747. To see a ground level view of this same landing, please see photo 779790 by I. Gunawan. |

N744UP (cn 45944/326) Beautiful old 4-holer makes an early morning arrival back home to ATL, where she served for years for DL as N825E where she had an in-flight upset due to turbulence a while back. anyway, it's good to see her still flying. |

HB-IGH (cn 46067/455) ... an unforgettable moment to see a takeoff of a DC-8 from Sion airport. The beautiful machine arrived on a VIP flight from Moscow. Very good visible the washing water automatically pumped out just after leaving the runway. |

OH-*** On that day there was a quite strong crosswind. Also the ILS for the runway 15 was not operational, so the planes had to come down to runway 22. Here this Finnair's MD-80 demonstrates how to make a perfect landing :) (photo 2 of 2) |

JA302K (cn 28990/3002) Is approaching to perform another set of touch and go during the training session. Finally, after 4 years of interval, I am so glad that I have come back this place. Although the type of airplane is different, and I am getting a little older, the most amazing sight with blue sky, white clouds, green coral are still here that makes me happy. What is more, this photographer captured here is truly making my life to be the most wonderful thing anytime, anywhere. Thank you, Kanoko!! |

9H-AEH (cn 2122) The little Airbus, seen ahead of the mighty 744s of BA, (G-BNLI and G-BNLM), heads in a completely different direction to that of the runway! As can be seen by the other aircraft there's an obvious sidewind component today to deal with. The Air Malta has left behind an enormous wake as can be seen in the cloud behind it. Spectacular effect to capture and witness. |

EC-HGV (cn 329) 1st. PRIZE MACH.82-SEPLA AERONAUTIC PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST 2003. Imagine... everything almost covered by the dark, 'María Guerrero' is cleared for departure and rotates after a really long take off roll. Passes over my head, gear up, and begins to challenge the sky. Suddenly, the sun appears just in time for a second and gives a mysterious light to the scene while the aircraft is creating wingtip vortices and condensation over the wings...Click! |
