N1805 (cn 45899/304) "Calder's Flying Colors". Painted by artist Alexander Calder during the early to mid 1970's. Mr Calder painted a few of her engine nacelles during 1975 Paris Air Show! Seen lining up runway 24L completing the LIM-LAX-SFO service. Manufacture date was July 28, 1967. Delivery date was September 29, 1967. Other serials - N1805 with Braniff Intl Airways and Universal Aerogat Llc. WFU by Braniff Intl Airways on May 12, 1982. Wears FN 805 with Braniff Intl Airways. Broken-up at MIA in 1988. Look good on 747! |
