CU-T1259 (cn 3445111) This colourful Bar-Cafetería IL-62 is one of your last chances to have an authentic Mojito when leaving Cuba, or the first one if you can't wait to have it when arriving to your Hotel! |

CU-T1284 (cn 4053732) Most of you already saw (and talked about) this arrival at Lisbon airport, and as I am lucky to have another frame made milliseconds later, I thought uploading it could help to understand it. As you can see the clamshell doors are fully deployed few seconds before positive touch down. This is SOP on the IL-62M, so that an air-brake effect can improve the stop of the aircraft. Remember that a IL-62 (all versions) hasn't powered flight controls, so all "moving parts" are controlled by direct cable links. |

P-885 (cn 3933913) The aircraft is ready at Pyongyang Int'l Airport for a flight to Beijing/China. The a/c is equiped with 4 SO D-30KU engines and was built in 1979. At FNJ there is not really big traffic but from time to time there is even a flight to Seoul/South Korea. |

RA-86466 (cn 2749316) While we were taking photos of an Enkor Tu-154 on another runway, this beautiful Il-62 came in. The only thing we could do was making an emergency shot against the sun. On the lower part of the photo you can see the heads of buddies Jordi and Josep, also contributors to this site. See a low approach |
