SE-HSG (cn S-439) Count the helicopters, there are 12 choppers in this picture, look for some Robinsons lurking in the shadows. This picture shows an overview of the HAMMS site for the 2007 WRC Rally Ireland which was based in the Sligo Institute Of Technology. Even though these helicopters are on a football pitch for the purposes of the HAMMS operation it is a temporary airfield, the white cones in the background mark out runway 11-29. |

CS-TKN (cn 624) This month of November had been really good for us spotters, with so many different things coming by!! Not being a different A/C, this one deserved some attention... These pilots were caught in some wind shear, and it was really close to total disaster, since the wing almost touched the ground! You can also see the stress in main landing gear... At that time, there were gusts up to 44 knots of crosswind, and heavy turbulence was reported! I'm glad that everything ended up well.. [Canon 40D + Sigma 120-400 |

TF-BLU / 1003 (cn 02) Ground collision in-the-making! Taxying past about twenty meters away and bang! Pieces of prop flying in air and showering ramp with various sizes of matchwood. Whole episode was over in just three-to-four seconds and nobody was injured. Out of several photographers present (due arrival of B-25D N88972 enroute UK to Seattle) I may have been the only one shooting during those seconds.
