Boeing E-4B (747-200B)

Remark
Photographer
74-0787 (cn 20684/232) US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld arrives in Adelaide. This ageing heavy has a plethora of names, viz: Advanced Airborne National Command Post Aircraft, National Airborne Operations Center [formerly NEACP National Emergency Airborne Command Post], The Flying Pentagon, The Double Humper, and perhaps most sinisterly, the Doomsday Plane. Count the sensors and aerials on "Ensign One" which flies outof Offutt AFB Omaha, Nebraska.
