Remark
Photographer
N80FA (cn 10273/7) Another shot of this amazing beast from my Cessna 172 camera ship to mark the publication of Patrick Dean's full history of all 21 Carvairs. This book runs to some 400 pages and contains some great production era photographs courtesy of ATEL's chief photographer with whom I was able to make arrangements

Remark

G-ASDC (cn 10273/7) "Big Louie" eases onto SEN's runway 06. I grew up 3 miles out along that approach path in the Sixties and have the Carvair and the other classic props of the time to thank for firing my aviation interest

British Air Ferries - BAF
Aviation Traders ATL-98 Carvair
Southend - Rochford (SEN / EGMC)
UK - England, July 1977
Remark
Photographer
G-ASDC (cn 10273/7) When they stripped all the layers of paint from 'DC for its freight-only career 'au naturel', it was said that they gained about 10% extra payload. Behind is G-AOFW which for a while was a candidate for preservation
